Atlantic States Celebrates Year-End Passion for Excellence

Atlantic States recently celebrated their year-end Passion for Excellence. This event is held quarterly and this celebration marks the end of a great year for the Atlantic States team.

This impressive group put a plan together for everything needed to convert molds, troughs and a puller on Casting Machine #3 which will now enable them to produce 4” pipe.  This is a major change for Atlantic States and will expand their market to customers needing the smaller size pipe.

Atlantic States can now run 2-1/4” 3” and 4” pipe on Casting Machine #2 along with 4” and 5” being run on Casting Machine #3, in any combination scheduled through the Sales Department.

“This also allows us to build our 4” inventory during a normal 4-day schedule by running both machines on 4” if needed, which eliminates the need to run casting on Fridays because of a shortage of 4” pipe,” said Atlantic States General Manager Dale Schmelzle.
